Nuvo is a black smoke female and is one of an outstanding litter of five kittens from CFA GRC Avicats Sophrosina Marfisa, DM and CFA GRC, GRP Stormwatch's Tatsumaki. Despite her rare color (and that she is a female) Nuvo has acheived the Grand Champion title in CFA as a breeding female, and now as a spay has also won the title of Grand Premier. Nuvo has a delightfully feral expression and a beautiful coat- as can be seen in these photos.
Nuvo is a very outgoing and happy girl, and loves to play with judges at cat shows, where
her purr and her energy level never seem to stop. She was a slower-growing girl than her sister
Thusa, but now she, too, has become a very large girl at a lean 15 pounds. She did very, very well for a rare
color in CFA despite the interruption of her show career by two litters- she had already defeated 191
of the 200 champions she must defeat in order to become a Grand Champion when she had to take a break
to be bred. She granded at her first show back out after her return to showing. Nuvo was also the
best Smoke and Second Best of Color Class winner for the show year 99-00 in her region. Nuvo produced some very pretty kittens and now is enjoying her retirement as a spay. But Nuvo still
loves showing! She was taken back to shows in Premiership competition and again has done extremely well. She is thrilled to purr and play and show off for the judges. Cat
Moody of Stormwatch cattery did a wonderful job of showing Nuvo as a "whole" cat and now her new owner, Viki Smith, has shown her beautifully to her Grand in premiership.
