March 24, 2006 --Added the line of James A. SOUTHARD to the Sarah Jollett and William Sampson chart. Thanks to another new cousin and contributor, Casey Southard Hutcherson. This must be the year of Sampson Research. Maybe between Barbie and Casey we'll come closer to a clear delineation between the two William and Sarah Sampson lines.
January 17, 2006 --Added the line of Smith SAMPSON to the Sarah Jollett and William Sampson chart. Thanks to a new cousin and contributor, Barbie Sampson, we have our first real connection of a child to Sarah Jollett. Barbie discovered a marriage record for Smith Sampson in which he declares his parents were William Sampson and Sarah Jollett. Now if we can only link Smith to a brother or sister, we can clear up the confusion on this line. Many thanks to Barbie.

July 18, 2005 --Added the line of Alexander Yancy SAMPSON to the Sarah JOLLETT and William SAMPSON page. Many thanks to Kevin Walton for providing this information and some wonderful pictures. Maybe with his research we will be able to solve the mystery of the confusing saga of the two William & Sarahs.
May 23, 2005 --Added line of Sophia JOLLETT & Cuthbert NORMAN. Thanks to Eugene Powell for this submission. I don't know how Sophia connects to James Jollett & Nancy Walker, but based on the fact that he provided surety on her marriage, maybe Sophia and James are sister and brother. The most recent Greene County Historical Society magazine (vol 18, 2004-2005) has a photograph of the Powell-McMullan House, which was owned by Cuthbert Norman and Sophia from 1819-1842.

March 12, 2003 --Added the 1837 deed between Fielding Jollett and Henry Kisling. The significance of this deed is that it proves that Mary Ann Armentrout's father was John Armentrout.
