A brief message concerning perpetual life membership

PERPETUAL LIFE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

NOTE

According to the Ahiman Rezon Article 104, any member who has Paid dues for 40 years is exempt from Grand Lodge per-capita, if the Lodge exempts them. There is also a proposal to change Life Membership from 40 to 50 years. This comes up every year and could pass at any year.

Perpetual Life Membership schedule is as follows:

Age	12-29	30-39	40-49	50-59	60-64	65+
Factor	25	23	20	18	15	10
50.00	1250.00	1150.00	1000.00	900.00	750.00	500.00

Fee for Life membership is determined by multiplying dues by The factor for the age of the applicant. The amount to become a Perpetual Life member will never be any lower than at the present time. Think about it and check your savings.

With a life membership, your lodge will receive the interest earned on the fee as long as per-capita is due Grand Lodge, after that time or at your death, the lodge would continue to receive 75% of the interest from then on. This would assist the lodge with its expenses.

Per our By-law changes, our dues as of 1999 are now $50.00. Now With the passing of the Per-capita increase at our Grand Lodge Annual Communication in April 2000, according to our by-laws they will increase at a rate of 2½% per year to accumulate for 4 years then rounded to the nearest ¼ of a dollar. The first increase collected by the Grand Lodge in the year 2005. This means our lodge dues for year 2004 would be $50.50. in the next cycle it would increase to $51.25. If you will take a close look at this, you will see the savings on your part, by becoming Perpetual Life member within the next few years. It can be paid over a three-year period along with your dues until paid in full.
