Please note: The spelling of this surname is inconsistent in our family. Some spell the name HOLTON, others claim that HOLETON is the only correct spelling. My grandmother's parents were HOL(E)TON cousins. To help keep the families straight in my database, I have spelled her father's line with the "e" and her mother's line without. Note for Edith HOLTON: Edith Holton and Cyms Holeton were distant cousins. They married when Edith was only 16 years old.
