AMAZON RAIN FOREST
In 1998, with Jeanne-Pierre Dutilleux, they wrote Jungle Stories : The Fight for the Amazon about the Amazon rainforest and the Indians. Sting narrates the fight of the Amazonian tribe, led by Chief Raoni, to save the Amazon rainforest against the denudation and pillage done by logging and mining industries. His journalese, humor-laced narrative highlighted his belief and admiration for the Indians's fight, which he would take as his own. Jeanne-Pierre's superb and excellent photographs, in full nature color, improved the words hidden beneath the forest.
