Loneliness, Love, Hope
Stars glimmering dimly above;
The weary knight searched far and wide;
Seeking for that elusive Love;
Loneliness looming, I can't hide.
The arrow whizzed and struck;
Hitting me like a truck;
The armour of solitude has failed;
As the wind picked up my sagging sail.
Spirit once down, now soaring;
Heart once moaning, now sighing;
Long lost ship has found its port;
As sighing breaks down the fort.
Phoenix soaring so very high;
As my heart continues to sigh;
Stars above shine so bright;
As my spirit takes flight.
Rejection makes faint heart and hope shatter;
With shield shattered, the knight has no shelter;
Will the shy fragile heart break?
Will the firebird's wings break?
