08.21.00: watch out for "bat's head soup: the tribute to ozzy osbourne" in stores this tuesday, as it features LISA's and dweezil zappa's rendition of "goodybye to romance." i'm a little iffy on the idea of *any* album featuring vince neil covering sabbath's "paranoid," but i'm (ugh!!) probably buying it anyway.

in site-related news, the FAQ section has been *completely* revised, and it now features a "question and answer" type section which i've juuuuuuust finished typing. a voting button for my bandhunt.com listing is also available for public clicking, and of course, the new guestbook (hint!!) is still ready (hint!!) to be signed (hint!!). not that there's any pressure on *your* part to sign it, of course.

08.18.00: .. .. and the sad part is, i completely missed out on the one-year anniversary of the site, and all i have to show for it is a new poll and a guestbook. *sigh.* anyway .. be sure to fill out my brand-spankin' new guestbook, which replaces the old-slappy "guestbooks.net" one, which had apparently stopped working for me a few weeks back when i wasnt looking. im fairly big on the new guestbook, particularly because the provider allows LOTS of freedom to customize .. try it out and lemme know what you think!!

06.19.00: some screencaps of LISA in "the black circle boys" were added to the images page, and i don't know if it's just my overactive imagination, but our LISA looks a little .. ornery in these pictures. as in, like, fightin' ornery.

anyway .. on a somewhat non-LISA related note, if you haven't already got it, make sure you pick up a copy of juliana hatfield's "beautiful creature," as it's easily her best cd to date (even better than "hey babe"!!), and one of the best CDs i've gotten all year. my favorite tracks so far are "somebody is waiting for me," "might be in love," and choose drugs," and i highly recommend you go out and get yourself a copy ..

but, uhh .. before you do, here's a conveniently shameless plug for the cowardly ryan, as he was nice enough to let me have his extra copy of juliana's killer three-disc set .. thanks again, ry!!

anyway, if anyone's been keeping up at all, i've tweaked the site in small bits since the last update, with stuff like some new polls (email me if you "get" enrico pallazzo), the new "very round" poll borders (as opposed to the previous "very square" ones), a new award (hooh-hahhh!!), some cheesy rollovers, and the long-awaited, often-requested, now-its-active, so-here-you-go, now-you-can-sing-a-long-with-LISA, lyrics page. heh heh .. hyphens are cooooooool ..

12.14.99: LOEBWORLD can now also be accessed through http://www.lisaloeb.musicpage.com. youll get a popup everytime you go through that url, but in the long run, its a healthy alternative to the carpal tunnel syndrome you get from the regular address. well, maybe.

11.23.99: some screencaps from "the late late show" were added to the images page, and the tables for my "screencap-spicer-uppers" are just about ready to go public. check back in a few days to see what i'm talking about!!

11.22.99: well, i'm not dead, i've just been really busy the past two months and haven't had time to update the site. that excuse has worked for all the other responsibilities i've flaked on lately, so why fudge with a good thing, eh?

anyway, some sssssexy screencaps of LISA on vh1's "fairway to heaven" golf tournament have been posted on the images page, with uhh .. billions more to follow, including caps from her recent apperances on "the list," "the late late show," and others. the discography page has also been (finally!!) updated, and i hope to do the same with all the other sections on this site as the week progresses. i'm working on more news, polls, and links, and i've even started penning the long-overdue "supernatural" page, which ought to be done by .. well, eventually.

anyway, the news page has been updated with a tidbit on an upcoming tv appearance, and a few more screencaps were added to the images page. the screencaps were actually added a few weeks ago, but i got lazy and forgot to point them out in the updates. of course, now that it's all pro and official-like, you have no excuse not to go there and love them.

also, KATIE (LISA LOEB's biggest fan!!) was nice enough to email me that "the drew carey show" is now in syndication on the WB, and that the episode with lisa in it should be on in a month or so. also, belated thanks to TONY HUYNH, for pointing out my (gasp!!) faulty html on the discography page. he suggested that i leave it in, in the off chance lisa would recognize it and point it out to me, but that sweetly romantic sort of thing only happens in tom hanks movies, and i look nothing like tom hanks.

08.27.99: hey!! it's LOEBWORLD version 3.0!! it's new, and it's got CIRCLES!! lots of em!! wow!! exclamation points galore!! that means what i'm saying is exciting!! anyway, if you were a big fan of LOEBWORLD version 2.9.1, you may want to click here to peep at it and remind yourself that it was actually very, VERY BORING. "in with progress," i say!!

in addition to the new design, i also added the loeb life site to the links page, and it comes highly recommended. i .. uhh .. also got a haircut this monday, trading in a pound of sssssexy hair for a sleeker, "borderline mental patient" do. more on this as it develops!!

08.03.99: a few more screen captures were uploaded (finally!!), and some LOEBWORLD polls were added to the "about me" and "images" pages. a lot of people don't realize there's a different poll on (almost) every page, so, uhh .. well, so there you go. check 'em out already!!

07.21.99: LOEBWORLD is opened to the public. it's a little incomplete, but i thought it would be fun to get an opinion on the site so far, and sort of wing the second half as i go along. this seems to be the best possible way for me to steal ideas from other people, but you probably didn't need to know that.

anyway, what you're looking at is actually the second version of LOEBWORLD. the general consensus so far is that the first design looked better, and i completely agree .. i just wasn't satisfied with some of the interface and images, and more or less felt like the whole thing had to be sacked. i'm itching to start on a third (better) design, but i'd like to get a response from this one before i do ..
