BACK TO SCHOOL BREAKFASTS
Breakfast is the day starter! I don't think any of us
question that! However the morning rush sometimes leaves us with little time
for more than a quick bite of cold cereal or worse we just run out the
door and figure we will catch up at lunch! I learned with 4 kids that
preparing the food was only a part of it...getting them to eat it was
the majority of the problem. It took me a while, but I soon learned
that Oatmeal Cookies that were eaten, did more for nutrition than hot
Oatmeal Mush that still sat on the table long after the morning madness
was over! So I began to plan my menus with kid appeal in mind! Now the
statement, "Breakfast is ready!" is greeted with "Cool...what are we
having?" rather than "I don't have time!"
