1999 Galant GTZ
This is my latest toy.  Lots of fun to drive.  This is the first year for the new body style.  It is essentially the front end of the Diamante(Mitsubishi) and a BMW 3 series rear end.  Looks really good, especially with the gold trim package that we got with the car.

Driving this car is a lot of fun.  The biggest problem I have found with the car is that it likes to get up and move.  Unfortunately, the get up and go is to 80 mph with little difficulty.  Needless to say, you really have to watch what speed you are driving.  Even at 80 mph, the car wants to go faster.  But then, with 195 hp under the hood in a fairly light car, you can see why.

This car is part of a limited edition.  Supposedly it is only 1 of 1300 released in the US.  From what I have found out from  the local dealerships, there's only 2 near where I live and 7 released in the Seattle area.  So, trying to find another one like this is very difficult, the way that I like it.  The only other one in the local vicinity is a white one(still on the dealer lot).

The only bad thing that i have found with the car is trying to find data on it.  I am looking to install an aftermarket stereo in the dash(since the car did not come with a CD player).  Trying to find the wiring data is next to impossible.  Not even the dealership has that data.  What they have is very basic.  The biggest problem is that there is a built in amp(cranks out great tunes through the 7 speakers), but, figuring out what wire goes where is a hit and miss game.  I have also been trying to find out data on the internet about this car and some other owners.  I can find the basic stuff, size, hp, etc, but other than that, your guess is as good as mine.  From what I can find, this is the first site by a private person on the car.
