I've always been a supporter of my local shelter, but now that I have my very-own rescue dog, Maxie, I cannot express how important it is to save a life of a shelter dog! They love you, they respect you, and they cherish you, because they know that you have saved their life! Look into the eyes of a shelter dog, a dog who was facing certain death -- see the gratitude in their thankful eyes. See the love. See the hope. Please, support pet rescue as I do. Do anything you can to spread the word. The shelter dogs thank you.
