Would you like some boating music while you get underway with us? If so, just click here! |
I've been in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for five years now, and I am a vocal supporter of boating safety. So, please, when you go boating, make sure you and your dogs wear your life jackets. Always remember: Life Jackets: They Float...You Don't. They don't work if you don't wear them!
Also, if you're new to boating, please take a boating safety class; you'll learn a lot of important information that could save your life! Contact your local flotilla of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and let them know you're interested in the "Boating Safety and Seamanship" class. Or, click on one of the websites below, and you'll find the all the available public education classes listed.
Most boating stores, like West Marine, carry canine PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices). If you can't find a supplier of canine PFDs, please let me know. I'll find a store for you!
And, if you'd like to learn more about the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, please visit their web site, the address is below.
I'm also the "Webmistress" and Publications Officer for our Flotilla, Publications Officer for our Division, and Assistant Publications Officer for our District, so if you want to see what I do when I'm not playing with my dogs, please click on the "Saginaw Flotilla" listed below!
