There's nothing more heart-breaking than the loss of your best friend. Chicago said it best in their song, "If You Leave Me Now...." If so, just click here! |
I also have two dogs at Rainbow Bridge: a buff Cocker Spaniel named Lucky, who crossed the bridge in September, 1994; and a brown and white Cocker Spaniel, also named Lucky, who crossed in March of 1978. (I was so lucky to have my Luckys!) I think of them every day and miss them very much.
If you get the chance, visit the Rainbow Bridge web site...it's very touching, and will bring tears to your eyes!
Click below to visit the "Bridge." There are many touching stories and photos of the pets who have crossed.....remember to have lots of tissues handy!! (Sniff, sniff...)
My buff Lucky was, unfortunately, a puppy mill puppy, and she was sick nearly each and every day of her eleven years. But, there was nothing I wouldn't do for her. She had skin problems, eye problems, ear problems, just to name a few. She nearly lived at the vet's office, it seemed. (Needless to say, my wallet was empty MOST of the time!)
