Science Class Projects

The project for the first term is a Resource Report
The first report is due 2 September. The last four reports are due 3 October 2008.

The project for the second term is a Book Review.
The review is due 14 November 2008.

The project for the third term is a Research Report. An outline with annotated bibliography is due 12 December 2007. The finished report is due 8 January 2009.

The project for the fourth term is an Oral Report.
The Oral Reports will begin 25 February 2009.
A schedule of reports will be posted 24 February.

The project for the fifth term is a Research Project. You will work in pairs to complete an experiment/study and report your results with a 3-panel display or a written report. Projects are due 20 April.

Sixth Term Science Project
Each class will be working on a separate project.

The Physics class project for the 6th term is Mars Millenium. You are to design a habitat for a Martian Colony. The reports are due May 27th.

The Biology class project is a four page report on a newly discovered organism. The instructions have been passed out in class and are available here. The reports will be due May 27th.

The Chemistry classes will be holding a debate on an ethical issue in science. The topic list, teams, and instructions are online. The debates will be held on May 27 and May 28.
