AmigaOS

AmigaOS is an Operating System which is extremely efficient in the amount of memory and time required to use the Operating System. With just 1 or 2 MB of RAM, you can multitask several applications without any delays that are noticeable. The AmigaOS and its applications need little hard
drive space.

The AmigaOS ha been round since 1985. It was 32 bit OS then as now, due to the 32 bit architecture of the Motorola microprocessors. All the software is 32 bit as a result.

The processor runs on the MOtorola 680X0 processors (X stands for the number 0,1,2,3,4,6 currently), Which the MacOS ran on until they made the switch to the PowerPC processors from Motorola that have noticeable speed improvements.
