Indianapolis Project SEED

Since its beginnings 5 years ago, the Indianapolis Project SEED program has grown to reach hundreds of 4th and 5th graders in 15 Indianapolis Public Schools. Project SEED empowers students through effectively delivered high school and college level mathematical instruction. With the enthusiastic support of both the educational and corporate communities, the Indianapolis program is flourishing districtwide.

In addition, for the past three years, the Indianapolis program has partnered with local universities, including the University of Indianapolis, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Butler College and Marion College, to present graduate education courses, guest lectures, and mathematics course presentations. Indianapolis Project SEED has also partnered with U of I to win Eli Lilly Endowment grants to further serve students in the Indianapolis public school district and surrounding community as a valuable educational resource.
