What could be more exciting for America's future than kids - kids of every ability and background - working together to master challenging problems?Students demonstrating a SEED class In Project SEED, kids do this every day!

Project SEED is a non-profit national mathematics program that uses a unique Socratic group discovery teaching methodology to show elementary school students the joy and fascination of learning advanced conceptual mathematics. Teaching topics from algebra, analysis and other branches of higher mathematics, specialists using Project SEED methods allow whole classes of students to explore their own abilities and to achieve success in an academically rigorous subject. Project SEED programs reach out through local school districts to communities where too many children drop out of school or where students may all too easily end up without the academic skills that will carry them successfully into careers in the science, computers, and technology of the 21st century. Creating a cadre of students with sound mathematical backgrounds, superb critical thinking skills, and the confidence to achieve academic success is the mission of Project SEED.
