Let's start over from scratch!

So many large sized people have insufficient wardrobes. They have been putting off buying clothing until they lose weight. They are uncomfortable while shopping for clothing, so they make do with what they have. They feel that they don't "deserve" to have nice clothes, because they are fat. They think that they can only wear dark colors or clothing cut like tents because they don't fit into the clothing designers' cookie cutter world.

How would you like to open your closet and know that whatever you put your hand on will fit, look great on you and be a piece of clothing that you enjoy wearing? Pipedream, right?

Wrong. I do it every day! I only remarked to my husband the other day, that it was the first time in my life that had been the case -- he responded "well, that's how it SHOULD be!" What a novel thought! But how many of us are settling for less?

And it IS! I got here by chance -- two years ago I was literally limited to ONE skirt and TWO t-shirts, after years of my wardrobe dwindling bit by bit, as things wore out or became too small for me. I was also in such dire financial condition that I literally COULDN'T purchase new clothing. So when my life changed and it was time to buy some clothes, I vowed that I would buy nothing that did not fit, look great and that I didn't love. Though old habits die hard, I stuck to that vow, with the wonderful result of a wardrobe that I really like, and which gets me compliments all the time!

BEFORE YOU CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE, ADOPT THIS ATTITUDE:

I WANT CLOTHES I LIKE, THAT FIT, THAT I ENJOY WEARING. I WILL ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES!
