This is the outside view of a pair of outlets for the main (interstellar) drive. (FTL = Faster Than Light). This is an example of trying to figure out what to do with a SPUD (Single Purpose Ugly Decorative) piece. Unfortunately, in the image below, the SPUD in question not completely rendered.
I'm not sure what the final configuration will be for the FTL ducts. Maybe there will be four of them in a square. Maybe three side-by-side. Whatever looks best.
