update 11/16 & 17: renovation of backstreet mania is now complete! ::big cheer:: late last night (or was it this morning?), i finished installing all of the new graphics jessi whipped up. so far, everything seems to be working but if you encounter a link or something that isn't functioning properly, please let me know. you can send email to the site address (crunkgrl62382@yahoo.com) and i'll do my best to fix it. i should be able to get to the rest of the updates soon too (lucky for all of us, jessi already took care of the html formatting before she left). oh, one more thing. jessi wanted me to cut and paste this message for you all regarding the new emerging theme for the site:

All of the headlining graphics now featured on MANIA have been inspired by the music of the Irish group, The Corrs. Interspersed throughout the site are snippets of their lyrics from the albums "Talk On Corners" and "In Blue". These lyrics are all © to The Corrs and their co-authors (where applicable). I was first introduced to their music during my trip to London and Ireland this summer and have been a loyal fan ever since. For those who don't know, their sound is a mixture of pop and folk and, as you can see, contains some of the most heartwrenching poetry ever written. Enjoy the graphics, the lyrics, and the site. And while you're at it, head over to CDnow.com to pick up their albums. It's worth it. -Jessi

UPDATES: 11/15 Set

Faithful Maniacs-
At last the time has arrived for another update set! Before I let you get to the quick links and your much anticipated new reading material, I must thank those of you who've been patiently standing by. Finally, the busiest month (business wise) of my year is over and things should be settling down quite nicely soon.
However, before I return to the "regular-like-clockwork" schedule you're all used to, I'm going away one final time this year. I'll be spending a week (perhaps longer) out of town for what some might call a vacation. In the mean time, a good friend of mine has agreed to run the Library in my absense. He'll be updating again within the next few days (including some of my own work!) and will also be implementing a new look I designed for the site. That said, keep an eye out for Damon who, bless his heart, is the closest thing to a saint I know here on earth.
I don't know for sure if I'll have access to the internet over the next week, but please don't let that stop you from sending email. Furthermore, Damon will have the password to my mailbox, so if you have ANY problems whatsoever, please simply send email to the usual place and trust that it will not escape notice.
