Then & Now     (1990)

An impressive collection of songs from Asia's early years, including: "Heat Of The Moment" and "Only Time Will Tell" from Asia and "Don't Cry" and "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes" from Alpha.

Anthology   (1997)

I purchased this cd very recently and was very impressed with the performances, although I was disappointed that some of my favorite Asia songs, such as: "U Bring Me Down," "The Day Before The War," and "Into The Arena,", "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes," "Eye To Eye" and "Open Your Eyes", not to mention, "Your Wildest Dreams" are not included! However, the song selection on this anthology is superb! The two new songs- "The Hunter" and "Different Worlds" are very good! The rest of the songs represent a very good overview of many of Asia's best songs from their best albums, represented are "Only Time Will Tell" and "Heat Of The Moment.", "Don't Cry" and "The Heat Goes On", "Go", "Aqua Part I," "Who Will Stop The Rain" and "Someday." Also, included are: "Anytime," "Reality," "Feels Like Love" and "Military Man." Additionally, "Arena" and "Two Sides Of The Moon" make an appearance on this compilation. Overall, one could hope that a second volume to this anthology would be released in the near future!

Best of Asia     (1998)

Since, I am not completely familiar with all of the songs on Archiva I and Archiva II, I can not really judge this compilation with comparison to these other works. I can however say that I really like this compilation! I will review this more completely in the near future. Is there any chance that "Archiva I" and "Archiva II" be repackaged in a 2 cd set with Roger Dean cover artwork in the near future?
