Decrees of the ST Council

Hello all, here are a few of the rules that have been ratified by the ST Council.

1: All abilities over 3 must be bought with freebies, assuming they fit the character.

What this means, is that if you want a Dodge of four, you'll have to spend TWO Freebie Points to raise it from 3 to 4.

As for fitting the character, we on the ST council, would ask that you plan/think out what your character will be like before you start creating him/her. There are many classes of characters available, and many races and each has its own niche in the game. However each class/race is also limited. For example, you wouldn't expect to see a peasant in rags reading. Kindred are different, they often have abilities outside their class. But a wise kindred will not go around blatantly calling attention to themselves by such foolish actions.

2: For those wanting to accumulate Disciplines/Attributes/Abilities. In order for your characters to increase there stats, you must spend xp. We of the ST council would like to see this xp spent on useful, legitimate items.

For example: Richard the peasant has 23 experience points he wants to spend. He can't just spend them on anything because it would not be keeping with the character. Academics would therefore be out of the question. Strength or athletics however would be more reasonable, especially as he's been rping cutting trees and carrying heavy loads of stuff around. His increased physical shape would therefore make him stronger.

3: Getting XP. There two ways to get xp for your rping:

  • Rp in front of an Asst. ST or an ST, either independently or in a plot.
  • Log your rp and mail it to an ST. {It may take us a while to get back to you, depending on what we have going on in our lives, but we will try to reply asap.}
