My Mission in creating this site is to have a complete self help resource so others in an abusive situation can find the help they need to suit their needs in privacy. I know making that first call can be very scary, but I will help you find the courage and strength needed to accomplish your goal. No one needs or should go through this alone.

As this site continues to grow I will add more information ... questions to ask yourself ... information to prepare you for the first call, etc. All of my visitors are highly encouraged to participate in any manner. Here is a list of things I would like to be submitted:

There are so many more ideas I have, it's just a matter of getting them on here, then getting them started. If you have anything you'd like to contribute, no matter how great or small, I will gladly give you credit for whatever you submit.

I just think it's really important for the "community" to reach its hands to help those people that have momentarily fallen subject to this disease. If there weren't hands reaching out for me, or so many more like me, there's no telling what would or could have happened to me and my kids.

I know this problem/disease will always be here, but if you have and know there is a good support system standing behind you, chances are you'll be more inclined to reach for that hand .... and that's what I hope to be.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this. If I can manage to help one person, well, that's one more person that will be sleeping peacefully tonight. Quite possibly something they've never had before.
