"The format of the meeting is an inquiry"
Subject: Inquiry meeting: Management Structure for Technology Development
Hi all,
I am inviting you to a meeting to discuss US Technology Development's management structure. The format of the meeting is an inquiry as to what is it you need from your manager and what type of structure will provide for this. We started this discussion at the meetings on Feb 4 and 5 and came up with the interim structure.
Other questions to be considered include: How is the interim structure working for you? If it is not what you want, what would you like the structure to be?
The interim structure will be in place about a month as of next week.
While it is not imperative that it change immediately(if at all), I think we should take a look at how well it is working and let John know what our thoughts are in this regard.
This e-mail is addressed to the developers only. I would like you, as a group, to decide when and where you would like this meeting to happen and who should be in attendance. Questions to consider:
- Do you want the managers, Pete, Paul and Mitch to attend?
- Do you want the meeting to be held offsite?
- When and how long do you want schedule the meeting for?
Please let me know your thoughts and your availability. I have some prior commitments and am not available to facilitate on the following days:
- March 3, 4, 7, 11, 12, 18, 26
- April 4
Thanks,
Carol
