Natural and Cultural Landmarks:
Garden of the Gods: This is one of the
most photographed natural wonders in the United States. The park
is 1,350 acres at the foor of Pikes peak. It features fantastically
shaped sandstone formations that jut from the earth at crazy angles.

Cave of the Winds: Combine science and

Royal Gorge: This actually lies in Canon City.
Southwest of Colorado Springs. More than half a million people visit
here every year. The gorge is more than a thousand feet deep
and over eight miles long. It was created over three million years
as the Arkansas River slowly etched its way through solid granite.
In 1929, The worlds highest suspension bridge (1,053 ft) was built over the gorge.
Pikes Peak International Raceway: 200+ mile per hour
machines and drivers roar around one of the finest tracks in the world. Accomodating
up to 40,000 spectators, the PPIR is designed for comfort of racing fans and families.
Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame: Yee Haww. Giddee up on over to the
Hall of Fame. That's right anybody who is somebody on the Rodeo circuit
is here. This place is so popular that they have their own airline
to bring the people in.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: The only mountain zoo in the country.
Over 500 exotic animals reside in this 70 acre park.
Pikes Peak Cog Railway: From the mountain town of Manitou Springs,
you can ride to the summit of Pikes Peak on a cog railway. A ride on the rails is
different and fun, and you can see up to 100 miles in any direction
from the Peak.
Air Force Academy: Home of the Falcons,
This stadium stands out as it sits perched on the side of the mountain.
Sky Sox Stadium: The Colorado Springs
Sky Sox are the triple A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, and the
last step before the major league. Enjoy resonably priced baseball
from April through september.
Denver: Travel just an hour up
interstate 25 to see all the big name professionals play.
