The sun is shining down,
Sending its warming rays to Earth.
A day like today makes me thankful
For the beauty of the world.
It makes me appreciate life's true worth.
It's spring outside;
A time for new life;
A time for starting over.
The birds are singing.
I feel like singing, too.
Today, I become his wife.
Here beneath the trees,
Basking in the sun's rays.
I can't believe the day is finally here.
Friends and family have come
To witness our blessed event.
As I walk down the aisle,
It's like I have tunnel vision.
All I can see is him,
All I can feel is his love surrounding me, keeping me safe.
It's like the dream I've had so many times before.
I will never forget this day or these feelings as long as I live.
It's like nothing I've ever experienced before.
I probably never will again.
I don't think I could ever love anyone more,
Or feel more loved than I do right now.
We can't stop smiling at each other,
I know this is right.
For him, I would lay down my life.
I know he would do the same.
Now, he will give me the best gift of all-
His name.
Thank You, God for being so kind to me.
Thank You for believing I deserve the best life has to offer.
We won't be rich with money,
But I thank You that we'll be rich with love.
