The Bass Bridge Removal

This was the most serious work done during the restoration of the piano. Holes had to be drilled through the frame post on the back of the piano in order to loosen the bass apron. Here you can see where the bass bridge was attached. After it's removal the bass bridge was sent away and a duplicate made and returned it was then reattached to the apron and then reinstalled in the piano.
