Harron, Hearon, Hearion, Herin, Herren, Herrin, Herron  Heron

Great Blue Heron

The Herion name has proven to be a very confusing one to track, mostly because of the different ways of spelling it and the use of common first names, such as John, William, James, etc.  This seems to be a genealogist's bane.

The different spellings shown above are ways I have found this name spelled in connection with my line. Legend and Heraldry will give you an idea of where and how the name came to be.

Legend and Heraldry

My direct Herion line

John Clinton Herrin

Richard " Dickie " Herron

Timothy Sisk Herion

William Robert Herion Sr.

William Robert Herion Jr.

The following deeds were discovered by Lois Luebke, a member of the " Herrin Loop".  They were a very important break through on John Clinton's line, with informatation that helped get over a brick wall that had been hit. Any one that has worked with Lois knows what a dedicated genealogist she is.

Thank you Lois for all your hard work
