(my film)
Well, the film has been telecined... but out of sync. Yeah, I'm real happy about that. Anyway, the festival circuit awaits, but right now I have to try and earn some money.

Seen this week/lately:
What Lies Beneath: A potentially creepy story made into a predictable, commerical piece of -- well, I expected more.

The Perfect Storm: Should not have "perfect" anywhere in the title. Spectacular storm footage... unspectacular schmaltz.

Chicken Run: Very cute film about hope and pot pies. I love the Wallace and Grommitt guys.

Shanghai Noon: Unexpectedly funny film with Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. Hilarious at times, and good fights.

Shaft: One word = Why?

Currently reading:
Tutankhamen's Murder: Fascinating look at the Egyptian Pharaoh's life and death.

Einstein's Dreams: Alan Lightman's beautifully poetic book about relativity and so much more.

Listening to:
Pink Floyd... it's been a while since I went through all my albums.

"Pablo Franciso: Knee to the Groin." Comedy. 90% funny.

I know they say Los Angeles desert heat is a "dry heat", but 105 is just plain HOT, okay? When you add even the slightest humidity, it's even worse. I grew up in the worst summers on the planet, but that's only starting at 95, not 105. (Personally, I think I'd complain either way.) Global warming; it's real.

Re-evaluating things with certain people. Realizing feelings, all that good stuff. I feel I'm more honest lately... hopefully.

You know, I haven't heard from any of these folks, so I can't tell you where their pages have gone... except Terry--he's only a senior.
