Pokèmon Quest: Chapter 1

Mellisa's alarm clock rang at 7:00. She sleepily pressed the sleep button. She got up again when she remembered what day it was: it was the day she would recieve her her first pokèmon. Mellisa grabbed her backpack and hugged her mom. "You be careful, Mellisa. It's dangerous out there. With that, Mellisa was out the door and on her way to Proffeser Oak's office. She arrived and saw her arch rival, Colin, tapping his foot impatiently. Her best friend, Allison, also stood there. "All right," Proffeser Oak announced. ''Now that you're all here, it's time for you to pick your pokèmon! I have many to choose from! Colin, you go first." "I want an Alakazam!" he yelled. Prof. Oak frowned. "Colin, the point of pokèmon training is to evolve your pokèmon in their early stages. However, I do have an Abra that will be an Alakazam someday." "Fine, I'll take the baby pokèmon!" he said stubbornley grabbing Abra's pokèball. "You're next, Allison." Allison thought for a minute, then answered, "I'll take an Eevee." Proffeser Oak handed her the pokèball with Eevee inside. "All right Mellisa, your turn." Mellisa smiled. "Well, you probably don't have one, but I'd love a Growlithe. He nodded. "Although that is my favorite pokèmon from my collection, I'll let you have it. "Yes!" Mellisa started to walk out the door, but Colin stopped her. "Wait a minute! Let's battle! Go, Abra!" "You'll be sorry! Growlithe, go!" The two pokèmon were released. "Abra, psychic attack!" Abra shot a blue wave towards Growlithe and knocked it out. "That was no challenge!" Mellisa walked off. So what if he beat me now? Someday I'll get him good!, Mellisa thought to herself as she walked towards Viridian City.

Pokèmon Quest: Chapter 2

As Mellisa continued towards Viridian City, she walked along the path of Route 1 with Growlithe at her side. "Maybe we can catch some new pokèmon here!" she said exitedly. Growlithe barked in agreement. Just as she finished, something rustled in the bushes. Out popped a small pink pokèmon. Mellisa had never seen it. "Hey, what's that?" She pulled out her pokèdex. "Jigglypuff," it said. "The balloon pokèmon. It has a beautiful voice that can sing even the toughest pokèmon to sleep." "Wow, I want one! Growithe, leer attack!" Growlithe's eyes glowed blue and made Jigglypuff dizzy. "Okay, now hit it with your ember!" The puppy pokèmon shot a small stream of fire and burned Jigglypuff. "You're mine!" Mellisa tossed the pokéball and Jigglypuff was sucked inside. The ball shook once...twice...and was still. "All right! Great job,Growlithe!" They continued on down the path, and soon saw a person standing in the middle of the path. It was Allison. "Hey, Allison!" Allison waved back then turned towards the way she had been facing, and Mellisa realized that she was catching a pokèmon. She ran closer and Allison had just captured a Caterpie. "Yay!" she cried happily. "So Mellisa, catch anything new?" "I just got a Jigglypuff!" "Really? Those are the rarest pokèmon that live around here!" Mellisa was stunned. "I didn't know it was that rare!" "Hey, Mellisa! I'll meet you tomorrow at 5:00 at the pokèmon center in Viridian City." She opened her mouth to say something else, but Mellisa was already running towards the town. About five minutes later she stood in front of the town, ready for a new adventure.

Pokèmon Quest: Chapter 3

"So, this is Viridian City, huh?" Mellisa and Growlithe stood in front of the town. "I guess we should go to the pokèmon center and meet up with Allison." She continued on to the pokècenter, wondering why Allison wanted to meet her there. Mellisa opened the door. "Hey, I forgot to heal my new Jigglypuff!" She slapped herself repeatedly for treating her pokèmon like this. After her pokèmon were healed, Mellisa wanted to challenge some sucker to a battle. Incedently, a boy about her age walked up and said, "Want to challenge my pokèmon to a duel?" "You bet!" she replied. "I'll knock you into next week! Jigglypuff, go!" "Go, Shellder!" "Huh? What's that? Dexter, anilyze!" "ACCSESSING DATA....BEEP....SHELLDER, A BIVALE POKèMON. NO INFORMATION AVAILABLE." "Oh, great. Jigglypuff, use a pound attack!" Shellder dodged and shot an aurora beam at Jigglypuff, KOing it. "No! Jigglypuff, return. Growlithe, give this guy all ya got!" "Grrrrrrr......owl!!!!!" Growlithe decided to ignore Mellisa and use bite attack. Shellder made the mistake of opening its shell and it was hit by Growlithe's razor sharp teeth. "YES!" "Oh, no! How could I lose?" he muttered. Just the, three sets of hands reached out and grabbed Mellisa. They carried her down a set of stairs, into a dark basement.......
