Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bunch cilantro, diced
  • 1 head of lettuce, shredded
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • pinch of ground red pepper
  • olive oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 12 taco shells

Brown ground beef. Drain beef fat. Then stir in olive oil, water and spices. Simmer. Combine with greens, guacamole and vegetables in the taco shells .


Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 3 avocados
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 lime
  • 1 diced mild chilis
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste

Skin and pit avacados. Blend avacado with other ingredients. It is also a good idea to keep the pit in to prevent oxidation of guacamole before serving.
