- (700 watt microwave oven) Combine water, salt and some oil in a glass
dish. Cook covered, at 3/4 power until water reaches a full boil (6 to 8 min).
- Stir in the macaroni, Cook covered at 1/3 of the power until macaroni is
tender (13 to 15 min).
- Drain macaroni and rinse with hot water.
- In another glass dish, Combine onion and some oil. Cook covered until onion
is partially cooked (2 min).
- Crumble beef into onion mixture. Add garlic, chili powder, and a dash of
salt and pepper. Cook covered at 3/4 power for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Drain off the excess fat and stir in the remaining ingredients and macaroni.
Cook covered for 3 minutes at 3/4 power, Let stand covered for 5 minutes.
NOTE :Cheddar cheese soup can be substituted for the mushroom soup.
