Ground Beef Macaroni

Ingredients

  • 750ml water
  • salt
  • oil
  • 375ml macaroni
  • chopped onion
  • 5oog ground beef
  • garlic(crushed)
  • chili pepper
  • 1 can kernel corn
  • 1 can mushroon soup
  • grated cheddar cheese

  1. (700 watt microwave oven) Combine water, salt and some oil in a glass dish. Cook covered, at 3/4 power until water reaches a full boil (6 to 8 min).
  2. Stir in the macaroni, Cook covered at 1/3 of the power until macaroni is tender (13 to 15 min).
  3. Drain macaroni and rinse with hot water.
  4. In another glass dish, Combine onion and some oil. Cook covered until onion is partially cooked (2 min).
  5. Crumble beef into onion mixture. Add garlic, chili powder, and a dash of salt and pepper. Cook covered at 3/4 power for 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Drain off the excess fat and stir in the remaining ingredients and macaroni. Cook covered for 3 minutes at 3/4 power, Let stand covered for 5 minutes.

NOTE :Cheddar cheese soup can be substituted for the mushroom soup.
