K-9 Willie
Jim Erven is a law enforcement officer that trained with the two Coasties that brought the dream of a K-9 unit to Sandy Hook. Jim decided to train his own dog when he started the 10 week long school. Willie is a 3 and a half year old black lab that is a demon for the towel. After training there is rarely a time when the towel is not torn to pieces. Jim and Willie have worked with us on some drug raids with positive results. Jim also helped me develop into the handler I am today. When times were sucking and I wasn't doing to well, he took me to the side and calmed me down. He is a awesome assistant to Mark Weber and his K-9 search techniques have got to be the best in the business.
