....At one time phone numbers were 1, 2 or 3 digits Following the links below will take you to the meagre few pages of the 1903 Calgary Telephone Directory.
At the top of each page is a link back to here and each page of the book. Also remember the inside covers (2 & 3) were blank on my copy so I have not included them. The navigational device looks like thus:

NOTES

Go ahead, take a poke at the Cover and then on from there, enjoy.

NOTE: A historian at the Glenbow Museum told me the named streets were changed to numbered streets around the time that this directory was published. I have this letter and will publish the contents of it here as well.

Also note on the First Cover is handwritten "May 1903", this is on the original I received as a published copy sometime during the early 1970's. The yellow color is the color of the paper on which the copy was printed, it was not my doing.

The images were scanned & rendered perpendicular and although they may appear slightly askew this is as it was published, or rather as the copy was published. Again I have made no effort to correct the error. It is as they saw it then. The paper is also thin and some pages are heavily printed (bleed through). Page 8 seems to be too light and this is also as it was printed.
