Mexican Consulate in Austin Texas
This seems to be a very good site and they are nice about replying to e-mails. I have had trouble with other consulates replying, (ie, me not recieving a reply) so this is a very good place to begin an e-mail.
Mexican Consulate in New York
I realize this is the US Mexican Consulate, but they still might beable to help you if you are from a different country. E-mail them and just state your problem and country (I did it) and they can help you no problem. This site is especially good for Canadians because our Mexican Consulate site is not reliable (I e-mailed them and it took 2 months for a reply)
Mexican Consulate in Canada
This site is very informative, and has lots of written information for Canadians wishing to travel. However, do not e-mail them with questions if you are looking for a quick reply, or a reply for that matter -- Rather, go to the Mexican Consulate in New York for e-mail questions and tell them that you are Canadian.

Iminet Cancun Chat Board
Another great site. It is a bulletin board where you can post questions on Cancun, and people like me, former travellers and some other very knowledgable people will answer them! If you have specific questions, go here! The only problem is that it is not monitored and so any jerk can post there. Better go to All About Cancun (above) for a more secure chat. The rest of Iminet also has Cancun information, so check out the rest of their site.
Cancun Medical Q & A Message Index
The official mexican horror stories = Dirty water, dirty food, diarreah, throwing up, ruined vacation, lost money.........so what can you do????? Ask the Doctor -- he/she can help you. This site is a posting board, post your question, and a Cancun (english speaking of course) Doctor will be there to help you. In fact I think this guy is American, but don't take my word for it.
Hacienda Yaxcopoil Merida
Visit this 17th century hacienda near Merida. Admission is $20pesos and their website has an english or spanish version. Haciendas in Yucatan are a must see!

A Wonderful hompage by Remag which is very informative about Cancun. It has information and phone numbers on the Hotels, restaurants, shopping, banks, emergencies, Car Rentals, Gas Stations, Consulates and Entertainment. It also contains conversion charts for temperature, distances, and clothing (as well as spanish). There aren't too many pictures but bonus, there is info on Carlos'n Charlie's, Carlos O'Brian's, Seņor frogs and El Shrimp Bucket.
Aquaworld Cancun and Cozumel
This is a site of a large company in Cancun and Cozumel that offers scuba diving trips, snorkling, Jungle tours and more. It is one of the larger establishments in Cancun that offers these services. Good site, take a look.

A bed and breakfast in Merida Yucatan.
Club Maeva
An all inclusive Resort located on the Gulf of Mexico close to Merida and Progresso. I visited it and it is really beautiful and has nice beaches, swimming pools, a disco, a bar, taxi service and more. A lot of Snowbird Canadians flock her for the winters.

Signature Vacations is a company, and I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I think they have several other sub-companies, and their whole business is Charter Flights. They have several to Cancun. (Their other names are: Signature Vacations, Sol Vac, P.S. Holidays, Adventure Tours or Fiesta West) Currently only serves Canadians going to national or international destinations.

Canada3000
Rating - Good
Canada3000 is a charter that flies direct flights to Cancun as well as places over seas and the US. They are much cheaper than commercial and their website, you can look up a fares and other info. To reserve I guess you e-mail the travel agency that manages the page. Be careful though, like all charters, they have weird rules and take it in their own hands to be immigration as well.

This is a company that sells the beautiful white dresses worn by Yucatecan women. I recieved one of my own as a gift (they come in different styles and colors) and I love it to this day. You can wear it as a summer dress on a warm day and they are hand made/hand embroydered.
Handmade Hammocks
If you go to Cancun or the Yucatan, make sure to buy one of these. If you won't be going for a while, you can order one online. I have slept in them and I bought my own. They are a wonderful souvenier, you won't be dissapointed. Comes in many sizes and colors.
