After our time on Fraser Island we headed up the coast again to Airlie Beach, where we magically became PADI Advanced Open Water Divers with Oceania Dive. Over the seven days of our course we spent three nights on the Anaconda III, a spiffy 30 meter schooner (see photo above).

We also had the pleasure of receiving a dolphin escort on the way home! Here's one of them jumping beside the boat. Two of them stuck with us for at least 10 minutes, which surprised me because we were going at a good pace.

We were fortunate enough to come across this furry little Koala on our 'Koala Walk' on Magnetic Island. When he was first sighted he was on the ground making his way towards this tree where he conveniently posed for photos.

Upon our arrival in Cairns the Oz Experience bus took us to an AJ Hackett Bungee site at the edge of the rainforest! Here I am gracefully shouting 'Oh Shiiiiiiit' on my way to being dunked in the jungle pool 44 meters below.
