Bath, New Brunswick

Bath, New Brunswick is a typically friendly and warm Canadian village. Mark and Christine - owners of the local Convenience Store - let us camp in their garden, use their facilites, and kept us topped with provisions and good cheer.

The local kids were fascinated by our accent, us being the first foreigners - i.e. anyone from outside Bath, New Brunswick - they'd met. They entertained us with a novel game of baseball involving the use of their sister's doll's head as a ball.

There's a cycle track here on an old railway bed which one day will go all across Canada, as shall we. At the moment however the track is rough-looking, unclear in its direction, and rather poor in most places - as are we.
