Beppu's Hells

Beppu is famous for its waters. Hot water and steam seem to pour out of every hole in the ground. Some are used as public baths (onsen), and others are just for looking (the jigoku, or Hells). I'm not sure what the etiquette is regarding public baths and cameras, so I settled for a few shots of jigoku, all of which are striking colours thanks to the minerals dissolved in them.
