Inugatake

These pictures were taken on a a hike up Inugatake (Dog's Mountain) in Oita Prefecture with some teachers from Bonnie's school (Kokura Minami Koko) in 1998.  Steep little bugger, that Inugatake--and lots of tall bamboo to push your way through. It's well worth the effort, though, especially (I suspect) when the fields Rhododendrons are in bloom.
