Fukuoka's Festivals

Fukuoka Prefecture is home to many festivals each year, which feature taiko drums, funky lantern pyramids, food stalls (yatai), parades, and fireworks.  Oh, and beer.  Many people show up in kimono, yukata or hapi, and the festivals are always colourful.
