Texas Hold'em is the latest craze of the poker world. A deceptively simple looking game, Texas
Hold'em is easy to learn, but far from easy to master. This is by far my favorite game. If you're
interested in learning to play poker for money, Texas Hold'em is probably the best place to start. 7 Card Stud
Seven Card Stud is a classic poker game. I think there's money to be won if the game is learned
properly. 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo
Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo is a variation of Seven Card Stud. In Hi-Lo, the player with
the highest hand wins half the pot, and the person with the lowest hand wins the other half. Omaha
Omaha is great Hold'em game. The trick is to play for the nuts. With 4 cards each and
ten players, the winning hand will usually be the best possible hand, or something close to it. Omaha Hi-Lo
This Hi-Lo game is very unpredictable, which results in a lot of action. The ability
to win both the Hi and the Lo halves of the pot is the key to this game. 5 Card Stud
Five Card Stud is a rarity in the poker world. The game doesn't create enough excitement
since it consists only of five cards being dealt, and betting. I think it's a great game. I feel like it
forces people to play the man rather than play the cards. 5 Card Draw
Most people know 5 Card Draw. Some people even associate Poker specifically with this game.
Until the emergence of Seven Card Stud and Hold'em games, 5 Card Draw WAS poker. |
