- A wonderful diverse site that covers all the important questions about our wine competitors

- Wonderful details and all you'd need to get started here. Facts and figures, marketing details, business information and all in English.
- The Canadian Wine Home Page
- A comprehensive site of many links to every part of the Canadian wine industry.
- Wines of Chile
- Thoughtfully put together site including some fulltext articles, links to Chilean wineries and to wineries in the States
- Croatian Wines
- This is not the best site as it is not well translated, but a very interesting history and mentions NZ links with the Nobilo and Babich names. Very slow to load.
- Vineyards and Winemaking in England and Wales
- Very comprehensive and full of detail. Interesting details of the winemakers of the past, attitudes to English wine and developments in organic wine among the other material.
- German Wine
- Good material here, in English about the German wines, the labelling issues, the history and varieties.
- Wine Online
- This site on Italian wines has government patronage and it shows. Covers the confusing DOC/ DOCG issue,wine societies and gives leads into the research into wine being done. A great non-commercial starting place for Italy.
- South African Wines
- Frames site with a mixture of commercial and informational material. Covers grape areas, history, wine merchants and wineries.
- Spanish Wine Page
- A very well reviewed personal page, that informs and is a good starting place for this exploration. Covers trade as well as news, tastings, the harvest and the wineries.
