This is my mom and daddy. My daddy has always been my "star" ... and my mom has always been someone I wished I could be. They're both very strong people and I love them dearly. When I was growing up, my friends wished they could be adopted by them ... now how many people can say that??? My dad works for a major dealership and my mom runs her own business. Again, the people I've most admired throughout my life. While growing up I didn't have a "typical" childhood. My dad used to play lead guitar for some very famous people, while my mom used to design the uniforms they wore on stage. Because of that, I've met some very nice 'stars' along the way ... but I'd have to say, I'm still daddy's #1 fan ... and he'll always be my #1 star.
This is my nephew James and his wife Christina. Hard to believe looking at this picture that he's old enough to be married. He's done quite well for himself. Just left the service and beginning a new career now that he's home. And Chris is just one of the nicest people you'd ever want to know.
And finally ... the new addition to the family. Tyler Byrd born 9/30/99. Now James has gone and made me a great-aunt ... although I like the term Experienced Aunt better ... lol. He is the cutest little thing ... not that I would be partial or anything! Well, that's it for now ... will try to get some new ones scanned and posted. Thanks for visiting !
