As read in the Puffkin Press, SWIBCO announces the latest addition to the Puffkins line, Puffkin magnets! Listed as available are 62 styles including the most recent retirees, Shelly, Max, Cinder and Elly. Will this first batch of magnets be the only batch to include these retired Puffkins? We'll let you know as soon as we find out.

**January 13, 1999**
Not only does the February issue of Mary Beth's Beanie World Monthly have an article about Puffkins, but also Beanie Mania and Beans! magazines contain feature articles. Beanie Mania also has the Valentine's Puffkins pictured on their February cover! Rosie Wells Collectors Bulletin continues to cover Puffkins in their bi-monthly publication. **January 12, 1999**
News is everywhere that Chicago Bulls' basketball star, Michael Jordan, is retiring from the game. What does this mean for Bruno's future? Will he be saying 'good-bye' as well? We will let you know as soon as we know anything more!

**January 1, 1999**
Elly, Shelly, Max and Cinder are now retired!
The new Puffkins are Shaggs the sheepdog, Squawk the parrot, Lenny the leopard, and Happy the smiley face! Keyrings of the new styles will be available possibly in March.

**December 11, 1998**
There will be 4 new releases and 4 retirements announced on January 1st!

**December 8, 1998**
Puffkins appeared on WGN-TV morning news show in Chicago. The segment featured an interview with Swibco's Craig Anderson and a tour of the SWIBCO facility including a look at the art department to see how Puffkins are created.
