Sisters.midi
Janice is my younger sister.
The other girls were married before we were teen-agers.
We grew up together, and are still very close.
I wrote her this poem after she had worked so hard
getting Moms estate settled after her death.
JANICE
I appreciate you, but theres no need to say it, I think you know,
But I would like in this small way, just write and tell you so.
I'd like to say, Thank You, you've had three hard years,
You did it all without grumbling or showing us your tears.
You spent your time and energy, did things that we never knew,
So now its time to give credit, yes, credit where credit is due.
I know you got tired and discouraged, it was enough to drive you to drink.
I thought, "Before this is over, Janice will be seeing a shrink!"
But now, at last, it's all over, you've made it through all of this,
I know that this is one job, that you're not going to miss.
"Well done, faithful servent"!, that's what you've become and
I want to be the first to say, that I appreciate the job you've done.
