He was married to Beverly Elaine VANDENBURG on 23 Sep 1963 in Muskegon, MI. Ronald Lament Smith graduated from Perry High School in 1959. He then took
apprentice training at Oldsmobile in Lansing graduating as a welder. He is
now one of their best and assigned to special operations. He is also an A-1
mechanic. Has own garage where he builds and repairs race cars and has built
a heavy tractor for competition in tractor pulling contests. He has won many
trophies with his tractor also with his racing cars. He is also the "Friend
in need" to the families of ailing motorcycles,trucks,snowmobiles, etc. He owned
and flew his own plane also had an Air-Freight Co. with three partners,
Ronnie and Beverly enjoy traveling. Ronnie flew them and another couple In a
single engine plane from home, over the ocean to the Bahamas and back! They
have had several other trips with their plane and in their motor home with
their family

Ronnie, With his cousin Gerald Rosen and uncle Norman Rosen
the Rosen, Smith & Rosen Construction Co. in 1973. It is (missing words)

Beverly Elaine Vandenburg graduated from Grand Haven High School
in 1964. She was active in local projects and elected Miss Autorama
1960 at the Walker Arena in Muskegon where the Miss America Pageants
held each year. She graduated from Lansing Community College as L.P.N.
and received her R.N. Degree December 1976. She served as Office Nurse
for ten years and is now head nurse in Labor and Delivery Dept at the
St. Lawrence Hospital. She has been a leader in the "Right to Life"
movement also a leader in N.A,T.A.L, She has been a Girl Scout Leader
several years. Beverly is a cousin of Senator Arthur Vandenburg.
Beverly and Ronnie own their own home and farm and raise St, Bernard
dogs.

Christine Elaine and, Carole Janeen are honor students in
Perry Schools. They both are talented pianists and are both in their
school bands. Christine loves to work with her dad on cars while Carole
has great promise in the literary field.

Candice is in the 2nd grade and the sunshine of the family,
She loves animals and cares for the family dogs.
Cheryl, at 15 months,shows every sign of being as lively and
attractive as her sisters.
