Lansing, MI. Carl William Sodman graduated from Perry High School June, 1966
and
went to work for Michigan Bell Telephone Company late the same year or
early 1967 He married Susan Janet Rosen on March 4, 1967. Two dau-
ghters born to that couple. Divorced in May of 1975. He is still
working for Michigan Bell as a telephone installer. Spent six years
in the Michigan National Guard beginning in 1967. Went to Fort Polk,
Louisiana for boot camp and OJT training for six months in 1967 His
hobbies include anything with a motor (cars, snowmobiles, motorcycles
He also races go-karts and has traveled with them to Georgia, Florida,
Missouri and New York. He serves as vice-president of his go-kart club;
and in 1977 received "Sportsman of the Year". He's also a good bowler
and has bowled in leagues for nearly 10 years now. No specific political
party or religion. Ancestors are mostly German.
Susan Janet Rosen graduated from Adelphian Academy, Holly, Michigan in
June of 1965. Attended Andrews University the following year and com-
pleted one year of pre-nursing. Left college in 1967 to marry and went
to work with the Department of Conservation at the Rose Lake Wildlife
Research Center. Had two daughters, Lisa and Patti, in 1970 and 1972,
respectively. Divorced in May of 1975 Susan's professional life
includes employment with the Dept. of Natural Resources, the Governor's
office and most recently as,secretary to State Representative Perry
Bullard. .Registered as an Independent, but has had extensive experience
In both the Republican and Democratic parties. Hobbies include piano,
needlework, reading and spending as much time with children as possible.
Have traveled whenever possible, and gone to several states, as well as
Canada and Mexico. Looking forward to a European trip within the next
five years. Other enjoyments include weekend trips to Chicago or
Detroit; theater; dancing and occasional camping trips with daughters.
Have managed to accumulate an additional 52 credits for an eventual
college degree. Would eventually like to earn a degree in business
administration, but probably won't accomplish it until children are
full-grown. Member of Eastern Star.
Lisa Janette Sodman is presently attending Lansing Seventh-Day Adventist
School in the second grade. Hobbies include camping with Mom & sis,
reading (constantly!), and practicing drama. Hopes to go to Mexico in
August of 1978 and thinks she might be a doctor when she grows up.

Patricia Joyce Sodman attends Attwood School in Lansing, and will join
Lisa at the S.D.A. school next year. She enjoys practicing drama with
sis (singing, dancing, anything she sees on TV!) and loves to camp and
travel with Mom and /or Dad. Patti would like to be a veterinarian when
she grows up.
