James C. Goff was born in 1762. He was born on 21 July 1762 at Maryland. He was the son of John Turton Goff and Elizabeth Welsh. He had 9 (by both wives) children. He married Elizabeth Howell, daughter of William Howell and Eleanor Gilmore, on 17 November 1798 at Randolph County, Virginia. M}; Elizabeth is James C. Goff's second wife. The name of the first is unknown. He died in 1837. He died on 27 July 1837 at Meigs County, Ohio, at age 75.

Johann Yost "Justus" Heck was born on 10 May 1754 at Berks County, Pennsylvania. He enlisted on on 1 January 1778 at Berks County, Pennsylvania. He served as a private in the Thirteenth Pennsylvania Regiment under Captain Crist and Colonel Walter Stewart. He fought at White Plains, Long Island, Iron HIll, Brandywine and Germantown. He married Marsha Goff, daughter of John Turton Goff and Elizabeth Welsh, before 1792; +. He and Marsha Goff had 5 children. He married Susanna Exline before 1801; +. He and Susanna Exline had 5 children. He applied for a military pension for his service in the Revolutionary War on 27 May 1818 at Monongalia County, Virginia. He was granted a military pension by a certificate issued on 7 January 1819. He died on 2 July 1825 at age 71. He died on 20 August 1825 at age 71. He left a will in 1825 at Monongalia County, Virginia. He was buried in 1825 at Heck Cemetery, near Rivesville, Marion County.

Elizabeth Riddle was born on 18 April 1779 at Maryland; Elizabeth was born in the part of Maryland that is now in the District of Columbia. As of after 18 April 1779, Elizabeth Riddle was also known as Elizabeth Riddel. She was the daughter of James Riddle. She married Alexander Goff, son of John Turton Goff and Elizabeth Welsh, on 20 April 1799; Elizabeth Riddle is the first cousin of Alexander Goff, her husband. She died on 12 November 1859 at Ritchie County, Virginia, at age 80. She was buried on the old Strouther Goff farm near Burnt House, Ritchie County, Virginia.

Eva Goff was born on 18 August 1811. Eva Goff was also known as Eve J. Goff. Eva Goff also went by the name of Effie. She was the daughter of Hiram Goff and Margaret Rush. She died on 9 March 1832 at age 20. She married Abraham Springston, son of Jacob Springston Jr. and Luda Goff, in January 1836 at Lewis County, Virginia; Abraham and Eva were cousins. She and Abraham Springston began married life on old Springston homestead, Lewis County, Virginia, between 1836 and 1843. She and Abraham Springston had 10 children. She and Abraham Springston lived between 1843 and 1852 at Jackson County, Virginia. She died of childbed fever on 9 March 1852 at Jackson County, Virginia, at age 40. She was buried at on the family farm, Jackson County, Virginia.

Nancy Virginia Riddle was born on 17 October 1807 at Virginia. She was the daughter of John Riddle and Tamar Goff. She married Strother Gail Goff, son of Alexander Goff and Elizabeth Riddle, on 6 March 1829 at Virginia. Her married name was Goff. She died on 23 December 1889 at Ritchie County, West Virginia, at age 82.

Joseph H. Goff was born in 1822 at Lewis County, Virginia. He was the son of Alexander Goff and Elizabeth Riddle. He married Angeline Davis. He died on 8 March 1893.
