Jesus seemed to be a lot of things to a lot of people in his day. But is that all in the past? Is he just another historical figure to learn facts about? NO!
The best thing about Jesus is that he is still, and always will be, Jesus--the one who saves, the one who heals, the one who has time to notice us and to be our friend. He doesn't walk this earth anymore as he did almost two thousand years ago, but he is sill here with us. We really can get to know him personally, because we can meet and experience him for ourselves.

1. We can find him at home. He's right there in the love our families show us everyday.
2 .We can see him in our friends, who have time for us, who accept us just as we are, who are faithful to us even when we don't deserve it. That's how Jesus shows us his patience, love, and faithfulness.
3. We can meet in him trusted adults who care about what happens to us, who listen to us and take us seriously, who show us a better way to live.
4. We can experience Jesus in the Church, in the sacraments, and in Scripture, when we listen closely to a Gospel story and realize that Jesus is really speaking to us.
5. Jesus always invites us to spend time talking and listening to him in prayer.
