The plot:
After the debarquement in Normandy on June, 6th 1944, a group of soldiers is sent on a mission to find another american soldier, Private Ryan, who has to be sent back to his mother in the States.

My comments: This movie is pretty original and a lot more realistic than war movies generally are. All the actors are playing very well and look very natural, even such a big star as Tom Hanks. On the whole, the movie is really sad without being melodramatic or anything :) Well I guess, it's just the kind of movie you can't criticize because of how realistic it looks!! So I have only one thing to say: you REALLY should go and see it as soon as possible !!!
