Glenn was born in Dublin, Ireland on May 28. He moved to the United States with his family when he was 19 and had no prior intentions of becoming an actor.
Without any acting experience behind him, he landed the role as Gwyneth Paltrow's boyfriend in the John Travolt drama "Shout". Most people recognize him as Mark, in the sitcom "Roseanne", but he also starred in a short-lived drama, "Covington Cross".
Glenn plays the part of Doyle, a part-demon who gets visions of trouble, and helps Angel, played by David Boreanaz, fight evil in Los Angeles. He is new to the "Buffy" group, having only starred in this first season on "Angel". In the show, he speaks with his Irish accent, which he had to suppress for "Roseanne".
